Exporting Files and Changing Hosting

  How do I EXPORT posts and comments from a free wordpress.com site to a hosted site with wordpress.org?
  Also, can I change hosting to WordPress.com? Wwhat does the one year extension mean for me?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  1) Here are instructions on how you can export your content:
  – Manually: https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
  – Or use the WordPress Guided Transfer service for a fee: https://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/

  2) You can then read about how to import your content to a WordPress.org site here:
  https://codex.wordpress.org/Importing_Content

  3) And you can transfer a domain you own to WordPress by following these instructions:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  There is a great support document on all the info you’ll need on how to move to self-hosted WordPress here: https://move.wordpress.com/

  I’m not sure what you mean about a one year extension – can you please give me some more details on that? Thanks
