Exporting from QuickBlogCast to WordPress

  I’m trying to transfer a blog that is currently running on QuickBlogCast onto WordPress. Unfortunately the directions that the hosting site gives (http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/5046/export-quickblogcast-to-wordpress) aren’t helpful: they only work for a blog that has no more than 100 posts. So I found some other directions at wordpress.org (see http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-import-from-godaddys-quick-blogcast), and while everything SEEMED to go fine — I downloaded the file, imported it into WordPress, identified myself as the author of the posts, and got an e-mail verifying the import — the posts don’t show up anywhere on my blog or on the dashboard. Tried it again, same (non-)results. So … I’m stuck.

  We provide support here only for free hosted WordPress>COM blogs like http://philbrains.wordpress.com/ Is that the blog you are referring to above or not?
