Exporting from wordpress.com to from wordpress.org

  Hi

  I have created a page in wordpress.com, and I would like to export the page to my own hosted site.

  From your instructions, I have understood that from tools you should be able to export it to xml-file.

  But, alas, my page looks something like this:

  (yes, it is in finnish, sorry about that, but I guess you know your tools anyway)

  How am I able to get that site (https://exam3253.wordpress.com/) exported and imported into my own site.

  Did you follow the instructions provided in this support doc?

  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

  You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and navigate to Tools.

  Dashboard > Tools > Export

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=export-choices

  *You will have to replace NAME_OF_BLOG with the actual name of your blog in that URL.

  Dashboard > Tools > Import
  http://NAME_OF_BLOG/wp-admin/import.php

  *You will have to replace NAME_OF_BLOG with the actual name of your blog in that URL.
