Exporting Large WordPress Not Working

I followed the instructions given at http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/ however during the process my browser eventually times out and shows a blank page with no download. How can I export a large wordpress.com install without paying? Is this not possible?

I sent the email to the address listed for your WordPress.com account. Please check your spam filters and Gmail Social tab if the email goes to Gmail.

Nothing in the email, but my bigger worry is that that file is too large to send in email. Was it over 10GB?
Can you provide a link to download it in the email from your service?

It’s actually a link to download the export files.
I’ve resent the email. Please verify the email address listed for your WordPress.com account in your Dashboard under Users > Personal Settings and check that account for the email.

Downloaded the link, its a zip file containing 16 xml files. I looked through them and I don’t see any of the stories. I need an export of the option “All Content” please.

Sorry for the confusion here.
I checked the export file that I sent you, and it does appear to include all of your content. I am seeing 16 files of several MB each, and when I checked, they do include posts as part of the content within the files themselves. I can’t verify that all of your posts are included simply by looking at the .xml files, but give the size of these plain text files, my guess is that they are.
If you are importing this content into a new site, please give it a try now and let me know if there is missing content after you have imported all of the files.
