Exporting my blog in correct format

  I understand how to export my blog. My problem is that everyone says it should automatically export as an xml file and mine does not. It exports as an illustrator (ai) file for some reason. I can’t import it unless its an xml file and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to make this work.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What is the URL of your blog? (starting with http://….)

  Yes I followed those instructions and when I export, it is in an illustrator and not an xml file.

  Hi stylebybrooke,

  XML files are now used to generate images so your computer may be trying to open up the XML file in Illustrator. Can you download the file and try to open it in Text Edit (or any other text editor) and let us know how that goes.
