exporting original images from wordpress media library

  Hi, I’m trying to export the images in my media library to my computer. How do I do this?

  Hi,

  I can see why you wouldn’t want to lose these great images! There isn’t a straightforward way I know of to download the images from your media library to your computer. There are plugins available on the Business Plan that would do it, but that is a paid upgrade (https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/).

  Another option, but very tedious, is to use your browser to save each image to your computer individually. (If a Windows user, right-click on each image and save it.)

  I will mark this so a staff member takes a look to see if there are other options I haven’t thought of.

  Hi –

  There is not an automated or easy way to do this. The best option is to open your media library and save these images individually to your computer.
