Exporting the Karuna theme

  Hi, could someone please help me export the karuna theme from wordpress and import it to weebly? I have downloaded the karuna theme (from here https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/karuna/ ) but there is also a format it needs to be in to upload it to weebly. Any help on this would be appreciated! Thanks

  You haven’t downloaded that theme at all. You have just activated in in your new WordPress.com site. A theme at WordPress.com it is meant to be used at WordPress.com too. The theme is designed to integrate into WordPress.com not some other company. Basically, you can only use that theme here at WordPress.com. If you move to Weebly, then you choose from the themes they offer.

  thank you themagicrobot but I have heard differently and I have a folder in my download file named karuna with other files and images. So I think it may be possible. The reason I am using weebly is because wordpress charge to have your own domain and weebly do not. But I think wordpress have better themes.

  Our theme versions are not transferable.

  Download Karuna for your self-hosted WordPress site.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
