Exporting Users

    Hey there,

I’m trying to export my users with no luck. I have tried the following plugins:

    Export User | Version 2.2.6 | By Q Studio

Import and export users and customersImport | Version 1.22.4 | By codection

And they have not worked. How can I export my users?

  • Hi there,

I’ve looked into the issue you’re experiencing with exporting users, but I noticed that there doesn’t seem to be a site associated with your WordPress.com account. Could you kindly provide the address of the site you’re working with?

If your site is actually hosted elsewhere and uses the WordPress.org software, I’m afraid I won’t be able to directly assist with this as it’s outside of our WordPress.com platform. However, the good news is that there’s a community of helpers in the WordPress.org support forums who are ready and willing to guide you through any issues you might encounter. Here’s a direct link to the forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    Hi there,

My site was drkimberly.com. I don’t think it is currently hosted there anymore, but the users are on wordpress.

  • Hi there,

Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host drkimberly.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions. You can learn more about the performance and security benefits of our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/

Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at GoDaddy. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.

You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move your site to our managed hosting in just a few clicks.

Unfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help. Thanks!
