Exporting without admin access

  Hello! I have a problem I was hoping some of you here could help me out with.

  Basically, I am trying to export my blog from wordpress.org to wordpress.com, however the host of denied me access to the blog and thus its admin panel, so making a wxr is not possible that way.

  However, I still have access to all of my files via FTP and phpmyadmin. The question is then how I can export some file from either that I can import to wordpress.com?

  Any help greatly appreciated

  You can install a local version of WordPress.ORG software on your own computer, import into that, and then use that to create an Export file. That should work.

  That worked. Now I just have to wait for WordPress.com to confirm the import. But all seems to be working fine.
