Expound doesn't show any posts

I need some newbie help with Expound. I have set it up with some test posts but the home page doesn’t show any posts at all. The root url just displays the about page or says that it can’t find a search result. It changes depending on whether I click on the header (which defaults to the about page) or whether I type in the url I get the odd search. Here’s the url:

Expound dis[lays 5 featured posts. Note that the dimensions of featured images are critical to display. To show the 5 featured posts, you must also Tag them with a keyword (for example, “Featured”) so the posts will be displayed on top of your blog.
“Your first five posts using your newly created tag will show up as your primary featured post and the remaining four will display as columns”
The ideal size for the featured image in the “primary” (larger) featured post is 460 x 260 pixels. If you make all your featured images that size, the four smaller featured posts displayed below the main one will be automatically resized proportionately.
Within a two-column single post, an image inserted into the post (not a featured image) can be 700px max.

I have done that, but my posts are not displaying anywhere. I created the tag and set sample posts to that tag but when I go to the root url all I see is the About page and no posts anywhere.

I use this theme. You do not understand how it is designed. Click my username and look at my blog. I choose to have only 1 Featured post and the featured image is the required size – yours does not appear to be.
