Expound 'featured' posts layout

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, I set up a separate test site so that I can play around with different themes before committing to them. I quite like Expound, which in the image in the theme carousel has the featured posts in columns underneath the top post, however I can’t seem to replicate this. My featured posts are in rows underneath the top one. Does anyone know how to recreate the look seen in the theme carousel?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • It looks like your test site is no longer running Expound, but this is how to set up the posts like the demo:

    Setting Featured and Primary Posts

    – Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Featured Content.
    – Enter the name of a tag.
    – Click the blue “Save” button at the bottom.

Your first five posts with the tag set above and a Featured Image will show up in the featured area, with the most recent being the primary featured post and the remaining four in columns beneath it, as shown in the demo.
