Expound theme displaying posts horizontally THEN vertically. Only want horizonta

    The expound theme is displaying one large post with four posts underneath which are stacked horizontally. No issue with that. BUT older posts are being stacked vertically below those. I do not want both horizontal and vertical stacks on the home page. I cannot figure out how to remove the second five posts that are stacked vertically. None of the help pages have any comments about this issue – they only mention that they want EITHER vertical or horizontal but don’t mention anything about having BOTH.
