EXPOUND Theme doesn't format featured posts as per demo

    The theme is supposed to display up to 5 posts as 1 featured post followed by 4 posts in columns followed by a linear list.

    When posts are made public and sticky, that works. When posts are Private and viewed in Preview mode, they are not put in the 4 columns but rather are placed in the linear section.

    I don’t know if it’s a bug or WAD but thought I’d leave this breadcrumb for others who follow can save time and frustration.

    Hi @lesddminc,

    Thank you for leaving this breadcrumb for others. :)

    Private posts can only be viewed by Admins or Editors on a site. Those viewing your site without those user roles will therefore not see them listed at all on your home page.

    With this in mind, posts set to private are often excluded from special content areas, like Expound’s slider, and only displayed in the main listing of posts to Admins and Editors.

    Let me know if that helps to clear up the reasoning behind this behaviour or if you have any further questions.
