Expound theme right-column on home page

    I’m using the Expound theme. On the home page, the right hand column is lower on the page rather than on the right alongside the content. Here’s the blog: http://5kfun.wordpress.com/. Is there a way to fix this so that the right column is flush is either higher with the rest of the content on that page, or removed from the home page only?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Other questions, assuming I upgrade to Custom Design:

    • Can I remove the “Leave a Reply” section from all pages?”
    • Can I remove the “juliejp27 / datetime” from each page?
    • Will the Custom Design upgrade automatically stop the ads, or must I do the ad upgrade, as well?

    Hi there,

    In Expound, the sidebar on the home page appears underneath the featured content and to the right of the rest of your posts. You don’t have as many posts now, so it looks kind of off to the bottom by itself, but you can see what it’s meant to look like in the demo here:

    If you don’t want the widgets to show on the front page, you can adjust the visibility settings of each widget:

    You can disable comments in Settings->Discussion in your Dashboard. However, those changes aren’t retroactive, so for any posts or pages that were already published before you changed that, you’ll need to edit the individual post/page and find the Discussion module here, below the editor:

    If you don’t see the Discussion module there, click the Screen Options tab in the upper-right corner of that screen and put a check next to ‘Comments’ in the box that expands:

    Can I remove the “juliejp27 / datetime” from each page?

    You can hide that with Custom Design, but you could also just use pages instead of posts:

    Will the Custom Design upgrade automatically stop the ads, or must I do the ad upgrade, as well?

    For that, you’d need the No Ads upgrade also. :)

    And I’m having a problem with the images embedded on this page and the others you can find by using the navigation tabs. On all these pages there is an image that shows up in Firefox at the correct size. But, when viewed in Chrome or Safari, it shows up as a thumbnail. Any advice on how to fix this? I’d like it to always be the size it currently appears as in Firefox.

    Actually, I solved it – I removed the image from the table. :)
