External Blog having Wrong WordPress.com Stats

  Hi there! I run a WordPress blog on an external host. The url is http://www.paintbits.com

  The problem is for like 1 month or so I’ve been having wrong WordPress.com Stats. I know I can track the hits from other sources, that is not the problem, but I do like WordPress.com Stats because I use a pluging to display my most popular posts. If I get Wrong stats it totally breaks the point of having it.

  The problem is for like 1 month or more I’ve been getting weird stats. I do get around 3K to 5K visits for day. The problem is refferals are displaying right… but not going to the right posts.

  For example today I got around 400 Hits from Delicous and 300 hits from StumbleUpon to the same post… but the post is not even displayed on the Top Posts. It has 0 hits today… What happens is 1 Post Gets all the Hits!! It will be like this for like 3 days and then it changes posts, getting all the hits again, posts that are not very popular and doesn’t appear on other Track systems like AWstats, Statpress, google analytics, etc…

  Help? :( Anyone with the same problem and with a solution to fix it?

  If I don’t fix this I will have to uninstall WordPress.com Stats pluging and WordPress.com Popular Posts plugin too.

  Please send a report into Support.
  But you will need to include some very good details – which referer, which posts and other details.
  More detail is better then less.
