Do you need to be registered on wordpress to be able to comment on posts?
Some of my friends, who are not on wordpress, are having difficuties commenting on my posts. They claim that the ‘registration’ is too complicated. Do you need to be registered on wordpress to comment on posts? I don’t know what the comment field looks like for those who are not members, so I cannot investigate or give them any answers.
Thanks for the help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You don’t have to, but it also depends on your own settings on your blog.
Under Settings ->Discussion on your dashboard, make sure to uncheck the box that say “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”. That way non-wordpress users will be able to comment.
You can read more about the various comment settings in these documents: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-and-twitter-comments/P.S. If you want to see what the comment field looks like for visitors, log out of wordpress.com and go to your blog (though this won’t work if your blog is set to private).
