External domain mapping payment

  Hi!
  I’m trying to pay using my paypal account, but you (as WordPress) have by default the requirement of a credit card.

  I spoke with paypal support and they told me that there’s no need for a credit card and that i should contact the seller to change the preference so i could pay with paypal rather than the credit card i dont have.

  Please help me, i’m from Chile and never had this problem before.

  Hello!
  I do not see the option to pay with your bank account on the PayPal check out. You can try to fund your PayPal with your bank account and then check out using your balance on WordPress.com

  There is no option for the user to choose this.
  Paypal support told me that this preference is chosen by wordpress.

  I already have funded my paypal with my bank account.
  But still the site for forcess me to provide a valid credit card to complete the deal :(

  You should be able to go to paypal.com directly and add money to your PayPal account from your bank account. Once the money is in your account with PayPal you can try checking out on WordPress.com using this balance.

  Hi there,

  I’m afraid that our agreement with Paypal does indeed require that your Paypal account be backed with a credit card. There is no way for us to remove this requirement. I’m very sorry!
