External domain not connecting/ privacy issue?

I am making a website for someone else where I am transferring a domain from the old to the new. The old site was hosted on another platform and I think the domain was bought through google domains. I went through the whole transfer process and everything but when I click the link it says there is a privacy issue or something like that. I have done a ton of troubleshooting: All DNS records are updated and I deleted the ones connected to the old host platform, the WordPress name servers are supposedly connected to the domain, and the domain says it is active. I also can’t find any area in the domain section regarding the SSL, which is what many resources have been telling me to confirm. I don’t even see anything relating to domain security or an SSL. The thing is where it says active, there’s a little pop-up telling me that it needs to be connected to the WordPress name servers even though it is. I looked up the origin of the domain on lookup.ican.org and it says ‘clientTransferProhibited’. Does this mean I have to access the domain directly through the Google domain account so I can update the settings? I can’t check very easily since I need access to all of these external things that I wasn’t expecting so I haven’t asked yet just in case that isn’t the issue but I want to confirm that here. Sorry it’s long but I need to figure this out ASAP!

Hi there – You’ve done everything correctly. It just takes a bit of time for the DNS changes to resolve. It should be working now. When you have a moment, clear your web browser’s saved cache, restart your web browser, and try visiting your URL again. Let me know how that goes please. :)

Hi! Yes, thanks so much. I don’t know why I didn’t clear the cache – I think I was just convinced that it was a deeper issue but it wasn’t which is a relief. Thanks for the quick response!
