External "follow" button code doesn't work

External “Follow button” code doesn’t work. I am trying to generate a follow button using the code generator here
http://developer.wordpress.com/docs/follow-button-creation/and it gives me the HTML code to insert into my page but it does not work in my page. It also doesn’t show the preview of the follow button in the code generator.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Ollie, The purpose of the “follow” button code is to add a button to an outside website, rather than your WordPress.com site. If this is what you’re trying to accomplish, please paste the HTML that is generated by the code generator, so I can take a look. Also, let me know the URL of the site on which you’re hoping to add the button.

Here is the code that the generator creates. When I paste this into my html, it doesn’t show a button. I am trying to embed this on a wordpress site that is hosted by Bluehost.comFollow Chronicle of a Wayward Son on WordPress.com

I should be clear: If you go to my main page, you will see where the button should be generated. I have a placeholder that says
“WordPress Follow Button should appear here:” but you will notice that there is no button on the page. If you right-click and view the page source, you will see the html code inserted at line 927

Oh! I see where the confusion lies…that code generator creates Follow buttons for WordPress.com or Jetpack-connected sites. I thought you were trying to create a button for olivercdamon.com/, which is hosted here at WordPress.com.

My site is jetpack enabled. I installed the plugin and migrated my subscribers over. What else might be wrong? -

Hey Ollie! I just checked in with the team who is working on this issue. They’ve gotten to the bottom of the problem and are working on writing code to correct it. I don’t have an ETA yet, but I can tell you they’re working diligently on it. If I hear of a solution, I will get back to you ASAP. Hopefully this will be very soon. Thanks for your patience. I’m very sorry for the delay in a resolution.
