External image does not reload when refreshing blog
-
Hi,
I’ve an external image that shows the actual weather of a town. This image gets updated every time you reload the page. I’ve seen from some time now that this image is stuck. I tried to change the url but nothing happens.
I’ve googled it and I’ve found that the issue must be the Jetpack and the Photon option, that creates a url with a i0.wp.com that makes impossible to refresh the image.
Is anyway to get rid of this?
Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Adventure Journal theme you are using is a retired theme. Retired themes doesn’t support all wordpress.com features. The recommendation is to switch themes. You could choose one of the themes in WordPress.com theme directory.
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/two-columns+responsive-layout/
See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change.
The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function so that you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.
Note that every theme will have a detailed theme description page with set-up instructions and a live demo site page that you can consult.
Regarding showing the actual weather of a town, Weather Underground widget would do the needful regarding displaying weather if the one you are using in your site doesn’t work even after theme change.
