External Link Menu force Target Blank

  Hi,

  I’d like to have one of my menu items point to my main webpage. Easy to do. But I can’t figure out how to force it to open a new window. I typically use the code target=”_blank”

  Appearance > Menus:
  a) Click Screen Options (top right) and check Link Target.
  b) Open the menu item, check the option “Open link in a new window/tab”, click Save Menu.
