External Pingback From My web site to my wordpress blog

  I don’t want to break anything here, so i’m asking before trying!

  can i install the standard wordpress.com link rel code onto every page of my website? (my website not my blog).
  ie
  <link rel=”pingback” href=”http://blog.kothea.com/xmlrpc.php”

  1. would this work ie would my blog analytics pick up anything?
  2. what would i or my users see, if anything in how these use my www page
  3. assuming this is wrong what else should i do? or do instead?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  i thought someone might ask that!

  get pingbacks/trackbacks to my www site on wordpress stats (I dont understand the difference) i apprecaite i can see backward links in google analytics/sitemaster
