Extra blank lines not displayed

  Since WP 2.5 i’ve noticed that extra blank lines between paragraphs are not displayed. For that matter, no matter how many blank lines I include in the editor, only one is shown in the actual post. Is this a feature, or am i missing something here?

  P.S: this happens on my wordpress.com blog, and a custom blog i’ve setup too
