I have tried to register a new blog today using a domain that I have purchased from GoDaddy. the address is the amateur.me.uk but it has not linked up correctly and I somehow have about an extra 3 or 4 blogs that I have created without my knowledge. How do i sort out the one I want called The Amateur and delete the others I will not use (will keeping my other blogs such as 150 drawings)?
The new blogs all seemed to have written the word dot in place of an actual . ?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

It looks like you did create a few additional blogs including the following:

    theamateurdotcom.wordpress.com
    theamateurdotmedotukdotme.wordpress.com
    theamateurdotme.wordpress.com

When you’re creating a new blog, you’re creating a new admin blog address, which is by default in the format of blogname.wordpress.com. Since you’re looking to add a custom domain name, this address will not be the one your visitors see. However, it will be the address that you as a blog admin use to identify your blog and the address where your blog dashboard will live.

Since the format has to be blogname.wordpress.com to start, we do not allow extra “dots”. So you couldn’t create amateur.me.uk.wordpress.com. Does that make sense?

Going forward, it looks like you’ve elected to keep theamateurdotme.wordpress.com and mapped your domain amateur.me.uk to that blog. Now, to clean things up, you’ll just need to go through and delete the extra blogs following these instructions:

    Delete a Website

Please let me know if you need anything else!
