  Hi, I’m about to register my own domain, but I was wondering if there are any other fees to complete the process? Someone told me you have to pay extra for server space or something like that? I know about the $17 per year, but is there anything else to do before you can start blogging? Thanks so much!

  No, the $17 covers one year of domain registration and one year of domain mapping. No extra fees for server space or anything like that. :)

  We do have some other (totally optional) upgrades that you can purchase if you would like.
