Extra Lines of Code

  Hello,

  I have a drop down menu inserted in the post of my website, but when I go to edit the html I suddenly find two extra lines of code for each item in the drop down. Once I hit update the drop down menu is now elongated and every item in the menu is listed on the page. This basically a huge annoyance because every time I need to make a change I have to do it on my backup copy and paste it into the html.

  Any help would be much appreciated.
