Extra space above Info Circle graphic

  • Unknown's avatar

We have some images and text on a webpage, and then an InfoCircle graphic. There is a lot of extra space above the Infographic, that does not appear between other blocks (only the Info Circle does this). It does not appear that there is padding on the Design tab. How do we remove this extra space?

  • Hi there!

I don’t see any sites under your account, what’s the address of the site you’re working on?

Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the open-source WordPress.org software, we won’t be able to help you out and you’ll want to seek help at these forums:

It is http://www.prevetmentoring.com. I changed it to a full circle InfoCircle as that was the only way to avoid the space at the top, but originally wanted a half circle (with thumbnails along the top half of the circle). So there was a lot of space at the top. The row was close to the one above, but within that row, the half circle was not centered, and was at the bottom of the row space. You’d think the content (whether full or half circle) would be centered. If we can find out how to fix it we may go back to the half circle as we originally planned. This was not a padding or spacing setting that we could see. I hope that makes sense, I’m not well versed in writing webpages.

  • Ah, I’m sorry we can’t actually see that as it isn’t hosted here, and is in Coming Soon mode.

If you’re using a plugin for the graphic, can you reach out to their support, or check in their forums? You’ll likely find someone else who has seen that situation.

Going forward, you’ll also want to use the correct forums for self-managed installations, at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
