Extra space between main content and footer

  • Unknown's avatar

I’ve seen a few posts suggesting a css code addition to a theme in order to get rid of the annoying blank space between the main content on a page, and the footer on a page. Nothing I am finding is solving this issue for me.

I am wondering if it’s a theme issue – which makes no sense give the fact that I am using Twenty Twenty One, which (I think) is a WordPress created theme.

You can see this blank space on any page on <a href=”https://www.rkarmstrong.com” title=”.

Any thoughts on a fix, or do I need to go looking for a better theme?

  • Hi there,

You’re right. To alter a theme’s look you can use some CSS code. To get help with the specific theme, you need to post in its official support forum:

    https://wordpress.org/support/theme/twentytwentyone/

The forum you have posted is for the WordPress.com hosting platform which is different than the WordPress software that your site is using. You can learn more about these differences here:
