Extract displaying incorrectly on Query Loop

    All of a sudden the extracts for posts displayed on Pages using a Query Loop are being corrupted.

    Posts created with blocks are being prefixed with a “>” . Posts created with a classic block are having the first 3 characters of the extract chopped off.

    Posts with a manual excerpt are not affected – and the problem does not occur with pages using the “Blog Post” block to display them.

    When the page is in edit mode the extracts display correctly.

    Have tried changing template – no change to what is displayed. Have tried on my test site (free one with no plugins) – problem does not occur.

    Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

    Problem has gone away. Presume it was something somebody had done at Automattic.
