Extract of articles on the main page

  Hello, i am using this theme: Eighties, made by Justin Kopepasah.

  I am editing my site and I really can’t manage to put only an extract of my last articles on the home page, I had another theme previously and I managed to do it, I just do not remember how to do it. Actually just visiting the home page you can read the whole article without clicking on it.
  I do not want any sticky page, just an extract of my last articles, just the title plus few first lines.

  Can anyone help me?

  Some themes have a post excerpts option that you can check at Customize, that will universally affect each post on the blog page. The Eighties theme doesn’t have such an option. You may, however, use the More tag to truncate posts individually. The tag must be added separately to each post that you want to be abbreviated on the blog page.
