Hi there,
I don’t see any attempted imports on the site, http://chobaka2012.wordpress.com/
Can you please confirm which site you’re trying to import to, which import option you’re using, and from which service you received the file you’re trying to import?
-
Yes, it’s http://chobaka2012.wordpress.com/, and you don’t see any attempt because it was never successful. Keep getting the same error message

Hi there,
Please make sure you’re importing a .xml file in WXR format. You can read more about the importing process here:
-
So does that mean I can’t import .wpress file? Is there any way to use this compressed file to open the pages?
-
@chobaka2012, where did you get a .wpress file? WordPress exports .wxr files typically, and that’s what our importer expects:

I did some searching and it looks like it’s part of an All-in-One WP Migration plugin. According to this, you need to have that plugin installed for it to work:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/what-is-this-wpress-format/And, you would need the Business plan to install any outside plugins.
https://wordpress.com/pricingNoting too, not all plugins work here. If this one disconnects Jetpack, for example, it could give you some trouble. So if you do decide to buy a business plan so you can use this migration tool, please be sure to contact support directly if you have any trouble with the site.
