Extreme Novice Needing Help

  Ok, I’ve had a blog here that’s not super active that could be helped a bit but my real issue is that I created a second blog that I want to be totally separate from the original; different bio details, avatar display, etc. a complete different entity in that it will deal with different types of issues. My question (confusion) is not being able to segregate the two, or so it would seem.

  NEW BLOG: Grumpy Old Bear

  To be really separate you need to sign out of WordPress then sign up as a completely separate user. If you have two blogs under the same user the avatar, etc. will be shared

  Oh, to separate the blogs now:

  1. log out and create a new user
  2. log out of the new user and log in to the old
  3. transfer a blog to the new user

  I have no idea how you do the last stage since WordPress changed the dashboard and their instructions don’t work.

  Sorry the instructions do work, you need “my blogs” from your dashboard, not “my blogs ” from the enu under the “W” at the left hand side of the new menu bar. Despite having the same name they are different menus!
