extreme slow wordpress and strange appearance

  hi everybody!

  can someone tell me why, for a few days now, WP is extremely slow (taking minutes to load page) and why does its appearance look like something is wrong(really strange graphics)

  does annyone else experience this?
  what can i do about it?
