EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED – Money-Back Guarantee is a LIE
-
I purchased a personal subscription with a domain transfer. Unfortunately, the plan didn’t work for me as it lacks some important features like custom CSS, I wasn’t aware of it during the purchase. I initiated a refund (the same day as the purchase), but the whole amount wasn’t returned. I paid $57.6, but I only got back $42. The difference seems to be for the domain transfer option that I chose, but I obviously don’t need it now since the plan didn’t work for me.
WordPress practically stole my money for the domain transfer, I didn’t even initiated the transfer yet. So what am I being charged for? I believe it was not written during the purchase that domain transfer service was non-refundable, or it was hidden somewhere as I didn’t see it anything like that. All I saw was a 14-day money-back guarantee. But that’s obviously a lie.
I kindly reached out to support 2 days ago, the bot told me it would connect me with a human agent asap (I still haven’t heard from anyone), and now the bot says ‘Human support is only for paid members, use our forum’. This whole customer experience and customer support journey is extremely frustrating and dissatisfying.
