Extremely offensive site for religion
-
There is a WordPress site, http://orthodoxos.wordpress.com which is written in Greek. This site is taking articles from religion sites and ridiculs them while at the same time promotes homosexuality, abnormal sexual behavior, insults for people etc.
Can you do something about it? -

WordPress.com does not engage in censorship of legally protected speech, however offensive, as far as I know.
-
You could report it as Mature or, if you think it includes illegal content, contact the police. Otherwise, best just to ignore it.

This is not something we would get involved with.
If we did then we start on the slippery slope to censoring everything simply because someone somewhere might be offended if they decided to look for it.“Our service is designed to let internet users freely express any ideas and opinions without us censoring or endorsing them. We think this has led to many great blogs being published on WordPress.com. However, you may also find the occasional blog that offends you. It might offend us as well, but while we are strict about shutting down blogs that violate our terms of service (no spam, personal threats, incitement of violence, etc), we will not shut down blogs because they are offensive. We think the right response to bad or offensive ideas is to speak out against them, not to censor them.”

A few things to note:
– – Yes, “the site is taking articles from religion sites and ridiculs them”. So what? The blog simply satirizes extreme christian fundamentalists and extreme right-wing conservatives. It started as an elaborate joke by a blogger who mimicked the style of old-fashioned fanatics (the masturbating-causes-blindness variety) so well that at first he got mocking comments by other bloggers who thought he really was one.
– The OP’s “promotes homosexuality, abnormal sexual behavior” is his misrepresentation of poking fun at those who consider sexuality a sin and at priests involved in pederasty or other sexual scandals.
– To further put things in perspective, for those not familiar with the avatar: it’s an emblem of the Byzantine empire and the Church of Greece.

The site is promoting homosexuality. Thats a reason for you to ask for censorship? What is abnormial sexual behavior? For some people a blowjob belongs in this category. If you are this kind of person: [edit – Mark] and praise the freedom of speech.

I dearly thank WordPress for allowing me to blog, and I thank those who are defending my blog.
My blog contents can easily be translated from English to Greek through Google translate at anytime, if my satire offends some extremely religious people, I cannot help it. I do not swear or use foul language. Never!
I do not promote or discourage anything or anyone, everybody is free to express themselves no matter the Race, Religion or Sexual preference.
I only defend Reason and if by doing so, I offend others, well… This is not the first time that Reason hurts, historically-wise speaking, since the dawn on mankind.
Sincere Thanks
