Extremely poor update to wordpress editing and post addition pages

Where is the old edit page????? This “update” is RIDICULOUS. Can’t copy paste anymore, Spent 2.5 hours trying to get the hang of a a 10 minute page edit where info is hardly readable due to EXCESSIVELY bright white edit page surfaces. What gives with you guys? Hapiness Engineers??????Really!? Get off the sauce during work hours!!! I AM LEAVING WordPress asap. Your people are either 3 year old brats or spoiled 25 year olds – Same difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m sorry you’re frustrated with the new editing experience. Please note that even when you’re angry, the Code of Conduct does still apply.
We’ve added a link to the new editor that will take you back to the old editor, so you can quickly get back there if you’d rather not use the new editor.
If you’d like to tell us about what exactly is upsetting about your experiences with the new editor, I’m more than happy to take those back to the team to discuss and possibly implement changes. However, I will need you to respond respectably and not continue to use accusatory language and name calling.

I have to admit that it is quite surprising that it has taken this long for someone from WP to finally say they are sorry for this fiasco.
Angry doesn’t explain it. When someone pays for something, they expect it to 1) work 2) not be changed in the middle of the game and worse not be told about it and lastly : treated as if we are simply a bunch of testers – whether we like it or not! How dare WP staff treat us this way!
Should I explain everything I don’t like about the new editor? No. That has been done on the forum in spades. Everyone in the forum, in this regard, wants one thing : the old editor back – plain and simple. Nothing else. No one likes to become a beta tester without being asked first. And not being on our blogs for a week and more does not cut it.
By the way, you are the second person I have spoken to (other : Adam on the chat line). No more chats “please”. Just stay out of our “paid” blogging experience until you have a properly functional product to offer. Thank you.

I’m sorry you feel that way. If everything you’re frustrated with has already been brought up, then it has been passed on to the developers. And you should continue to watch for updates in the main thread:
