It used to be that when I posted a shortlink on facebook, the featured image would show. Now, it only shows the thumbnail. How do I get it to go back to the old way?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We use meta data to help Facebook figure out what image to display on shares, and if a featured image is set for a post that should be the first thing Facebook looks for. Normally the only reason a featured image isn’t used when it’s set is if its significantly smaller than other images on the post (either within the post body, or in widget areas).
Could you send me a link to a recent post where this has occurred?

That is what I had thought, but these two posts both just showed my thumbnail
Thanks for your help.

I checked out those URLs with the Facebook Object Debugger (where you can see how Facebook has stored information for links) and initially they both had your Blavatar as the set image, like you’ve mentioned.
I told it to fetch new information from your site and it’s corrected now:
So it looks like in these two cases, Facebook just had an old scrape cached away that didn’t have the featured image correctly set. On these two posts was there not a featured image set when they were initially published?
Because everything looks good right now, so the only reason I can think of the wrong image being there before was if it wasn’t all in place at first publish. Let me know. :)
