  I just added my facebook widget but it shows the following message: Could not retrieve id for the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in.

  What is up with that? Because I copied it right from the url on my profile.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The Facebook widget only works with a fan page, not your personal profile.

  kellywpa has provided your answer. Note that you can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls.

  RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify.

  You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

  What is a fan page? I don’t really understand. They provided the widget option, so I put it on my page. should I take it off?

  Where exactly can I use it effectively to show who likes my page and have their photo be displayed?
