Facebook and WordPress

I don’t have a Facebook, never really understood the whole thing, anyway, do you really get more viewers by being on it? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you use it. If you just have an account but don’t post to it and don’t have “friends” who read your wall posts, etc., it doesn’t really do anything for you.

You’re more generous than I am. I NEVER try to talk anyone into using FB, because it takes forever and then they get there and don’t do the right things and then they whine at me as if it’s my fault and it takes hours to teach them the right things to do and I actually get paid for that, so I don’t bother.

@raincoaster LOL! I hate FB. I had friends talk me into getting an FB account a couple years ago. Blech! I completely stopped using it for over a year, except to view pictures people upload and share there, and have only recently begun to use it to occasionally share news articles. I actually think FB has gotten worse, not better, since I got an account. Yeah, I wouldn’t recommend it, either, but some people are wild about it. I think I’m just too old or something. I don’t tweet, either. Don’t understand the appeal . . . yeah, I’m old . . . gettin’ a bit curmudgeonly, too! ;P

I bet I’m older than you. I don’t like FB either, but I use it and I teach it. The current thing I’m pleased with is Empire Avenue. It’s significantly increased my readership, though there’s no way of knowing how long those people will stick around.

Thanks…I don’t really understand FB either, everyone keeps saying to use it to market my blog…What other ways do you get the word out on your blogs?
