Facebook app doesn’t distinguish between edits and new posts
-
So, every time I update a post, Facebook recognizes it as a new post, which basically causes feed spam in my profile and everybody else’s. This is bad for all parties – will cause Facebook’s algorithms to deprioritize wordpress, which nobody wants. I think the app needs to have a “notify on updates?” checkbox.

Is this any different from the way updated posts show up again in feed readers? I *think* (have not checked) that the Facebook app uses the blog’s feed.
So I’m not sure whether which piece of software should change its behavior: the feed writer, or the Facebook app. I’m not even sure that behavior needs to change. I think that, if people are following your blog, it’s reasonable to tell them about updates to posts. On the other hand…
Time to stop there, but I certainly second raincoaster’s advice to use Dash Feedback. -
That or report it at the application page as they have a discussion there and Joseph responds to questions on that.

I really wish you’d tell people where they should report issues or go for support when you launch a new application or plugin. Wouldn’t it be easier for everyone if they were directed to one location, rather than leaving people to guess where they should go and then having to field queries from all over the place?
