Facebook App Fail

  Hi guys,
  The Facebook application does not appear to be working. I tried a couple of different things, but no luck.

  If you are using Publicize please try the full reconnect procedure detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.

  if that doesn’t work for you there are 2 other options, aside from posting manually to Facebook. You can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

  I’m having the same problem! I did refresh the connection but it’s not publicize I have a problem with, but sharing my post with my timeline manually. I’ve never had a problem with this before today. I attempted to copy and paste the link of my blog post to Facebook but that didn’t work either. However, another link I shared worked just fine.

  I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Publicize multiple times. Publicize seems only to work IMMEDIATELY after the reinstall. a few hours or days later, fails. I manage five pages and all I want to do is have one WP blog consistenly publish to my corresponding FB page.

  We can’t help with the issue you have re: manually posting links to Facebook. That’s a matter for the Facebook help center.

  http://artizens.wordpress.com/ I will also note that Publicize seems to have no issue pushing out the links from this same blog to Twitter. About four hours ago I posted to the blog and checked the FB connection status from WP. It showed it was good along with the Twitter connection. That post has already pushed out to Twitter and still nothing to the FB page. So, now I can say that even I check and it’s good, my Publicize connection to FB won’t work.
