Facebook Automatic Sharing

  I want to connect my Facebook account to my WP profile/page but I don’t want it to automatically share the posts I make.. Is there away to do this?

  Hi there. If you don’t want your blog to auto-post to Facebook there’s really no reason to link the two under Publicize.

  But if you really want them linked that way, you will have to disable Publicize every time you publish a new post. In the classic post editor (I don’t use the new one so I don’t know where that option is for that editor), in the Publish module top-right, click the Edit link under the Publicize heading and uncheck the box next to Facebook. Make sure you do this before you publish the post.

  Alternatively, you can simply add a Facebook button to your blog with the new social media widget, and add a link to your blog to the About section of your Facebook profile/page. https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/social-media-icons-widget/
