Facebook badbge image not working

  Hi Guys,

  I’ve created a badge for facebook on two sites http://www.dannybent.wordpress.com and http://www.wherearedannysbooks.com

  For some reason the badge works on the former but not the latter???

  Any ideas why?

  I have tried using the same badge as the first but it doesn’t like that either?!! Weird?!

  WordPress.com strips out java script from blogs as it’s a security risk.

  There is a Facebbok badge provided by wordpress.com that will display correctly on your blog. Please see here. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-badge/

  Thanks – but how come it works on all my other blogs but not on this one?? They are all almost identical.

  It works on http://londontochembakolli.com/, http://dannyjbent.wordpress.com

  but doesn’t work on http://wherearedannybentsbooks.com

  All three work for me.

  • You could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
  • Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.

  OK – it works on Safari but not on Googlecrome – weird!!!!

  Yes indeed the badges are disappearing and reappearing. I have flagged this thread for Staff attention.I could be wrong but they maybe doing some work on the backend that is causing this come and go annoyance.
