Facebook Button Not Working

Dear Sir or Madam:
At the bottom of each of the articles on my site I have a Facebook share button. However, it is not updating properly.
Though there have been 12K+ shares on one article and 11K+ shares on another article, the FB button only shows 10K+ share on both. This is not only unfair to the writers, but unfair to my site as well.
Can you please fix this so that the button reflects the correct number of FB shares?

I believe the cause of your share count issue may be the same as the one here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/social-share-numbers-not-accurate?replies=8 However, as I do not know that for sure I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up and response. I figured out what the issue was. All other buttons except the official buttons will truncate the number to 10k+. I don’t know why because I prefer WP round buttons from an aesthetic standpoint.

Perhaps in the future this can be fixed, but in the meantime by switching to the official button an accurate count of FB ‘Likes’ is showing.

I’m glad you found a solution that works, even if it wasn’t your first choice.
I’ll make a note about the way the share counts display in the other versions of the buttons and see if anything can be done about it.
