Facebook Comment Plugin

  Hello, I was wondering if I upgrade my account from Basic to Premium (or even Business), I will be allowed to install my own Plugins (I am hoping to install one that allows Facebook Comments)? Or would I need to transfer my blog completely to WordPress.org in order to use this plugin?

  Hi there,

  We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons (even for blogs with WordPress.com Premium and Business). Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org. You can find out more about this topic here: http://support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  However, visitors to your site can use Facebook to leave comments on your blog. When leaving a comment, they can click the Facebook icon to use their Facebook account. If they are logged in to a WordPress.com account, they can click the Change link next to their name to select the Facebook icon and leave a comment with Facebook.
