Facebook Connect and WordPress

  When can we expect Facebook Connect to be available at WordPress.com? Will it be available as a widget in WordPress.com, or will you need to be able to tinker with the code? I’m about to launch a blog and Typepad is announcing they’re linking up with Facebook to help bloggers make their blogs more visible. Thanks.
