Facebook connection

  My post was not noted on my Facebook profile as it always has been. I checked & it is still connected.

  I keep getting a box that says I have to refresh the Facebook connection or my new posts won’t be shown there. But I’ve done it 2 or 3 times recently already. Today, when it came up, I tried the button to refresh the connection and it took me to a page on my blog instead. However, it did go ahead and show my new post on Facebook.

  Thanks, Dennis. I didn’t see that “refresh” box. Saw something at the bottom of the edit page saying I needed to authorize FB (& have the same profile). But when I clicked on it got an error msg “sorry something has gone wrong with your publicize connection, try later”

  Facebook made changes again and all kinds of issues cropped up. Please try the full reconnect procedure detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.

  If that fails then you can either post manually or use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.
