facebook connection error

  wordpress is ‘reconnecting’ to my facebook account. it doesn’t seem able to complete the connection. I just changed the wordpress name and address so maybe that’s why. how can i get it to reconnect to the facebook page?

  Hi there,

  I would suggest disconnecting Facebook (under the Sharing menu).

  Then:
  1. Log out of your WP.com account
  2. Clear your cache
  3. Quit the browser
  4. Reopen the browser
  5. Login to WP.com again

  Then go back into Sharing and start a new connection to your Facebook account.

  Hopefully, this will resolve the connection issue!

  Hi there,

  Please make sure you’re following all the steps at https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services, including removing the WordPress connection on Facebook’s end, before trying to create a new connection on ours.
