Facebook connection won't work

  My posts aren’t being publicised on my facebook page.

  On my ‘manage my blogs’ page it says I need to authorize the connection with Facebook. When I click that link it just takes me to my dashboard. I have tried resetting the connection as per the support page but that hasn’t worked.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Do you have to resend your WordPress blog or should it transfer on it’s own??

  Thanks. I’ll try the whole process again. Everything went like you said but my post, the 2nd time still didn’t show up. I’ll retry.

  @phillypressbox: I think you misunderstood what the support document’s “Troubleshooting” says (or maybe it’s not clear enough). You must publicize your old post on Facebook manually. Only new posts published AFTER you reconnected will appear on Facebook automatically.

  When I go back to my stats sheet after resetting Facebook I know longer have the number of Facebook followers listed. Did I lose them or is it just not showing up any longer??

  We Volunteers cannot help with site stats issues. Facebook followers set their own privacy levels at Facebook. Your facebook followers are not updated automatically on WordPress until you reconnect Publicize and then it will take some time for them to update.
  Wordpress.com divides followers in following categories:
  1. WordPress.com Followers: Having WP.com accounts.
  2. Email Subscribers: Not having WP.com accounts but subscribed via email form button
  3. Twitter Followers: Your Twitter Followers
  4. Facebook Followers: Facebook Fans of your page

  I have tried resetting the connection 5 times now. After I press all the ‘allows’ on facebook and get taken back to the ‘my blogs’ page it still says I need to authorise the connection with facebook (even though that’s what I’ve just done)….
