Facebook counts not showing up

  Since the beginning of the new year, the count of Facebook interactions (likes, comments, etc.) has not been showing up on my posts. Has something changed? Or is there something I need to do differently to get these to show up?

  I see that your Facebook likes have updated as seen here:

  

  I’m not sure about Facebook comments as that wouldn’t appear on your WordPress.com site. Can you please provide more information about this?

  With yesterday’s post, I shared it from my blog with the Facebook share button. With the previous ones, I copied the link to the post to post it to Facebook. In the past, when I did that the Facebook likes showed up. In the couple of posts before yesterday’s, the likes did not show up. Did something change here?

  I will continue sharing it through the Facebook share button to make sure it is connecting correctly.

  Yes, you would have to use the Facebook Share button on the post for it to be counted within your stats.
